The Gossip Zine

Press_esc to leave the chat, and join the whisper.

The Gossip Zine is a creative book project concept born from the drama among our program classmates. As we often gathered to discuss the latest rumors, we decided to channel our shared fascination into a unique and expressive project. This book captures the intrigue and excitement of our conversations, transforming them into a creative narrative.

Each of us crafted a book portraying our unique interpretation of the gossip, grounded in truth yet filtered through our individual perspectives. Through this endeavor, we aimed to explore the intricacies of gossip: how it spreads, mutates, and influences perceptions. In my version, I delve into a mysterious love story involving a neighbor who captivated my interest before mysteriously disappearing

Book of Secrets

Press_esc to touch on secrets

Nushu, the sole gender language devised by women during the 19th century, inspires this experimental design project. The characters often resemble elongated diamond shapes with delicate and consistent strokes, resembling mosquitoes or ants. Drawing from extensive research, rules have been established and adhered to. In this project, identical strokes in English typefaces correspond with those in Nushu.
